To register for the portal, complete all the fields on the registration page and submit. A member of the Arfinn team will then verify you as a medical professional. This verification process takes less than 24 hours and you will be emailed as soon as it has been completed.
Arfinn wants to ensure that only medical professionals are able to access the portal so that you are provided with a data and information that is familiar and useful. Only physicians and nurse practitioners will be able to create accounts.
Recognizing the critical time constraints for physicians and their staffs, our portal is simple and easy to use. Each function has been field-tested and revised multiple times to ensure our user interface is incredibly simple, streamlined, and intuitive.
Our efficacy table is a 1-5 scale where a 1 indicates an adverse reaction, and a 5 indicates a total resolution of symptoms. When adding a patient, you will have the option to add 'NEW PATIENT' rather than a 1-5. You can then update the efficacy on follow-up appointments, or have the patient update you via our text messaging service or patient portal.
The ‘add new case’ form asks a combination of required and optional questions. Some of the required fields include a patient age range, sex, time for symptoms to dissipate, delivery mode etc. Some of the optional fields include cannabis terpene profile, dispensary used, side effects, additional cannabinoids present, etc.
Yes, you are able to reach out to other medical professionals through the portal. You can also create or join groups, participate in discussions, and attend virtual webinars and other informational sessions.
No. This portal is meant to provide data and information regarding the efficacy of medical cannabis and can be used for physicians currently recommending, or thinking about recommending medical cannabis.
